REIKI
The word Reiki is the Japanese pronunciation of the Chinese characters that translate to mean spiritual life force energy. Usui Reiki is the spiritual healing method revealed to a man named Mikao Usui during a mystical experience in 1914.
The practice of Reiki is the act of laying-on of hands to transmit spiritual energy for the purpose of relaxation and healing. Healing may take place on a physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual level and may be subtle or dramatic as determined by God.
Ellen took Usui Reiki Level I in July 2001 and Usui Reiki Level II in February 2003 with Glen D. Moore. She took a Reiki Advanced Restorative class with Barb Davis and Kay Montgomery in May 2004, a Shamanic Reiki class with Dawn Kenny in October 2004, and a Sekhem-Seichim-Reiki class with Polly Lazaron in May 2005.
Ellen received her reiki master attunement in 2004 during an unexpected, out-of-body experience with Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi, and Hawayo Takata. She is insured by the International Association of Reiki Professionals.

ANGEL WORK
The term Angel Work refers to receiving guidance and assistance from the angelic realm. Half of the angelic healing techniques taught in Reiki with Angles are those revealed to Dr. Doreen Virtue and published in her book Angel Medicine. The other angelic healing techniques taught were revealed to Ellen Mahloy directly.
Ellen completed the March 2004 Angel Therapy Practitioner® course in Kona, Hawaii and is certified by Dr. Virtue. She also completed the May 2005 Professional Spiritual Teachers Training Program in Laguna Beach, California with Dr. Virtue.
